October 17: Harajuku, Ueno, Kashiwa

Sorry for the break, this trip I was really tired. We complete the travelogue!

( Foto by Davide Cassanello ) Stazione di casa, aspettiamo il rapido della Tobu Isesaki line che passa sempre al binario 1, e durante l'attesa abbiamo la fortuna di ammirare un velocissimo limited express Spacia (quello che abbiamo preso per andare a Nikko) che sfreccia in stazione, anche se nessuno degli indigeni sembra fregarsene più di tanto :P

Oggi è domenica, e di domenica ci sono gli svitati che si vestono strani ad Harajuku: in quattro viaggi in Giappone con base a Tokyo non ho mai visto il fenomeno di Cosplay e similari mostrarsi nella sua piena e decantata sfarzosità. Nel 2007 infatti era inverno e c'era freddo, nel 2008 e nel 2009 era estate e c'era un caldo boia, e quest'anno essendo autunno mi aspettavo di trovare almeno qualche rockabilly, ...anche quest'anno super delusione: addirittura quest'anno non c'era neanche uno svitato sul ponte, record mondiale di sfiga turistica a Tokyo...

...ma un altro negozio ha catturato la mia attenzione: il Soccer Shop Kamo...

Un'enorme struttura su più piani dedicata completamente al mondo del calcio e soprattutto alle divise ufficiali: io non seguo il calcio, anzi mi fa un po' cagare, ma VOLEVO la maglia ufficiale della nazionale di calcio Giapponese, my heroes of the world, so I took it with the number 18, one of Honda ...

Takeshita street è il solito incommensurabile casino, soprattutto oggi che è domenica...

E' davvero difficile persino camminare dalla gente che riempie questa famosissima via dello shopping folle...

And then there was one thing that I still lacked Harajuku: eat crepes! Here we are from Angel Heart, strangely without queue ...

Dopo aver preso la Joban line rapida da Ueno abbiamo già raggiunto Kashiwa, qui incontreremo la famiglia di Shiho al completo per la cena...
